John Rabe Watched Saturday, 30th April 2011. I usually don’t like movies about war or set during war but I can hardly figure out why. I can only guess that’s because war times where really tough or because any movie set during a war can never have a true happy end. And I like happy ends. John Rabe wasn’t an exception and even if I enjoyed it, I wouldn’t watch it again soon. That was a very good movie, tough, very soul-stirring with heartbreaking and crazy scenes that made me think I will definitely never understand war.
